Peanut butter & banana baked oats
Baked oats are perfect when you’re feeling like dessert for breakfast, or when you want something warm and filling on a cold morning. There are so many different flavour combos you can do with baked oats, but this peanut butter topped with peanut butter chocolate, bananas and rice malt syrup was a definite winner!
Here’s what I put in them:
- 3.5 tablespoons of rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons of vanilla protein powder
- 1 tablespoon of powdered peanut butter
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons of ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Combine ingredients in NutriBullet & blend until smooth. Pour into ramekin & pop in oven/air fryer for 30 mins at 180 degrees. Take out & top with half a banana & some chocolate & pop back in oven for another 10 minutes. Remove from oven and drizzle on syrup of choice.
I also love doing chocolate oats with raspberries or blackberries mixed in, or carrot cake oats with grated carrot and cinnamon. If you do a quick Google of baked oats recipes, I’m sure you’ll find one that hits the spot for you!
